What is an ABR realtor and why should you use one?

Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation.

    What is an ABR?

ABR or Accredited Buyer Representative is a designation from the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) that trains experienced REALTORS® in specifically representing the real estate consumer. The ABR designation is awarded to real estate practitioners who complete a comprehensive REBAC course in buyer representation, achieving a passing grade on the written examination, demonstrating practical experience by completing and closing five real estate transactions in which the candidate functioned as a buyer's representative and who maintain a membership in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS® and the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council. Only 3% of Realtors nationwide are ABR designees.

Why Use An ABR certified realtor?
Obtaining this title requires talent in closing residential sales and the achievement of many widespread courses. Those who have earned the ABR have a exclusive perspective on the buying process. Buyers who work with an ABR notice the difference!

Prior to starting your home search and committing to a particular Realtor, it is wise for you to know about Buyer Brokerage. Buyers in our area have normally not heard of a Buyer's Broker, the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation that is associated with it, or the numerous benefits related to Buyer Representation. By definition, a Buyer Representative will take the time to listen to your needs and evaluate the buying process previous to showing you property.
